Once a sleepy fishing village, destin has been discovered, and people from all over the world come here to live, or spend their vacation at one of the area beaches. We would like to introduce you to some of our pretty area beaches. Whatever your reason for visiting our happy shores, we are sure you will enjoy your stay. We must warn you, there is a local legend, that anyone who gets some of that pretty white sand in their shoes will have to return. I suspect that it may be true. This is a common sight around destin harbor, and several hours latter you will see all of these happy fishermen returning with a boat load of fish. There are more things to do here than you have vacation for. It may take several trips to do it all!
