It's neat to relax under your beach umbrella and listen to the sound of the surf, and sea birds. If you are interested in fun, Inlet beach has it! That pretty emerald green water is great for kayaking, surfing, snorkeling, and fishing. You are about a 30 minute drive from destin florida, the worlds luckiest fishing village. You can rent wave runners, parasail, and rent pontoon boats there. If you don't bring your own gear you can rent bikes, kayaks, and surfboards locally.

You pretty much have to supply your own entertainment at inlet beach. There is lots to do if you are sports minded. Surf fishing is popular, and the water clarity is perfect for snorkeling. You can surf, bodyboard, skimboard, kayak, and ride bikes. Of course many people just want to lay on the beach and let their cares melt away. You can make a short drive into Panama City and enjoy many of the activities Destin has to offer. Destin itself is about 25 miles away, and Hwy. 98 has just been 4 laned.
Of course you are convenient to all kinds of shopping as panama city beach is just about ten minutes away. You will also find good restaurants, grocery shopping, and even a super walmart. You would never guess it. This seems to be one of the most remote of all of the destin area beaches. So you have it all, seclusion and convenience.
You won't find much in inlet beach itself, it is pretty much a bedroom community with beach rentals, so you will have to make that short drive to find much in the way of commercial activity. Rosemary beach is just next door, and it has some small shops, but for serious shopping you will have to go to panama city or destin.
