You can find prime vacation property at rosemary beach. This is a new planned community, designed to be friendly to pedestrians and cyclists. It is a bit closer to Panama City Beach than it is to destin, but it isn't a bad drive into destin. Rosemary beach has some shopping, and there are restaurants a short drive in either direction.

The water is a darker color than usual, as it has been discolored by the run off from a coastal dune lake due to a recent rain. These beach rentals are all new, as this is a new beach development. You will like this community, and find it convenient for most things you want to do, however it is about 30 miles from destin. Panama City is about 15 miles to the east, and has many of the activities destin offers. You can go to Seagrove beach, or panama city beach for shopping, it is about the same distance.
